  • the final stage for complaints about most devolved public services in Scotland
  • monitoring and supporting best practice in complaints handling
  • independent review service for the Scottish Welfare Fund (SWF)
  • final stage for complaints about how the NHS considers whistleblowing disclosures in Scotland.
